Terms and Conditions – My City Movers

All prices provided exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
By engaging My City Movers for Removalist Adelaide, Movers Adelaide, or Removalists Adelaide services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately.
1. Definitions and Interpretation

2. Scope of Services

2.2. We reserve the right to subcontract any part of the Movers Adelaide services.

3. Booking and Confirmation
3.1. Bookings are confirmed only upon written acknowledgment by My City Movers.
3.2. Changes must be communicated at least hours in advance.
3.3. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information for smooth execution by our Removalists Adelaide team.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. All quoted prices exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
4.2. Full payment is required before the commencement of services.
4.3. Late payments will incur 15% interest monthly.
4.4. Payment is accepted through bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
5.1. Cancellations within 72 hours will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
5.2. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5.3. My City Movers reserves the right to cancel services due to unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
6. Force Majeure
6.1. My City Movers is not liable for delays caused by:

7. Health and Safety Compliance

10. Truck Capacity and Extra Charges
10.1. 8.5-ton trucks have limited capacity, and additional trips may incur extra fees.
10.2. Customers must disclose access restrictions (e.g., narrow stairs) in advance.
11. Packing and Customer Responsibilities
11.1. Customers must ensure that all items are properly packed unless we provide packing services.
11.2. My City Movers will not be liable for damages caused by improper packing by the Customer.
12. Prohibited Items
12.1. The following items will not be transported by Removalists Adelaide:

Hazardous materials or illegal substances.

Pets or perishable goods.
12.2. Transporting prohibited items will result in immediate service termination.
13. Subcontracting Rights
13.1. My City Movers reserves the right to subcontract Removalist Adelaide services to trusted partners.
13.2. Subcontractors will follow the same standards as our Movers Adelaide teams.
14. Termination of Services
14.1. Services may be terminated if the Customer exhibits unsafe or abusive behavior.
14.2. No refunds will be provided for terminated services.
15. Indemnity
15.1. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless My City Movers from any damages or legal claims.
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1. Disputes will be resolved under the laws of South Australia.
16.2. Any unresolved disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
17. Entire Agreement and Amendments
17.1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and My City Movers.
